Calgary Villains Elite FC is currently applying to become a not-for-profit society incorporated in the Province of Alberta. We offer top-level soccer from U – 10 to adult in Calgary, Alberta. The club aims to become a youth club with a minimum of its playing members allowed to be over 21.
The club is affiliated with Elbow Valley Soccer Association, a community based minor soccer club. Villains Elite manages, coaches and funds various Division 1 and Division 2 teams for EVSA as well as supplying coaches and independent player evaluations for the rest of the program. In return the club receives access to fields in the Elbow Valley community on which to practice.
Calgary Villains are long standing members of both the Alberta Major Soccer League and the Calgary United Soccer Association. The AMSL is a provincial wide league representing the top level of amateur soccer in Alberta. CUSA is a men’s league in Calgary. The Villains Elite Reserves team currently plays in the Premier Division of this league (Champions in 2004).
Villains Head Coach and Director of Coaching and Player Development Munib Koric runs a boutique style soccer academy, called the Golden Goal Academy, for high performance soccer players of all ages. Munib is an ex-professional player and coach and understands what it takes to develop players to a high level with the aim of preparing them for college scholarships and professional careers. Mr. Koric also has retained connections, from his playing days, to player agents and professional scouts in Europe.
The Villains Club has a strong and devoted Alumni which is legally separate from the “Elite” club. Thins Alumni does however support the Elite Program by supplying grants and funding for underprivileged youth players.
The Club has a board of 5 directors, all of whom are ex-players and have a long history of loyalty and dedication to the club.
